The tube dwelling anemone is a great addition to a reef aquarium! It is a distant relative of the sea anemone. It creates a tube in the sandbed. They are filter feeders and catch fine particles of food that fish and corals do not catch. They are non-photosynthetic but will open during the illuminated hours of your tank given time. You will want to feed them small foods such as brine or mysids shrimp and zooplankton.
